For every day in 2024, I dedicated myself to producing a small sketch of coffee cups, food, or little snapshots of my surroundings. And it turned out to be more than just doodling. It was an experiment in creativity and discipline. Each day, I’d grab my pen and paper, letting my hand move freely without worrying about the outcome. No perfect lines. No neat edges. Some mornings it flowed easily, others not so much. But that was okay. The act of showing up was what mattered.
I remember there were multiple times that I felt like skipping this part of my day or because life got busy. But something inside me always nudged me back to it. It became a reminder that no matter what challenges came my way, there was always time for creativity.
Looking back, I realize that this journey wasn’t just about creating art; it was about developing self-discipline and observing life more deeply. It taught me patience, persistence, and the value of consistent practice. They’re imperfect, but they’re mine.
